TRC Transportation Research & Consulting GmbH was founded in 2006 as a spin-off from the University of Duisburg-Essen. The company’s competence is based on studies, research and developments that have been carried out within the scope of the activities of the company’s founders and their employees at the Institute for Transport and Transport Construction at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In the thirteen years from 2006 to 2019, numerous relevant studies from various clients were acquired and successfully carried out.
We will continue to search for solutions to optimize the mobility of people and goods. Maintaining and improving mobility conditions is an essential factor in our prosperity. Nonetheless, we are about to switch to more sustainable forms of mobility, including replacing fossil raw materials with regenerative fuels and replacing motorized with non-motorized mobility. In cooperation with urban and regional development planning, the chances for non-motorized mobility are to be improved.
